… Judith’s work emerges from sketches done on location, personal photos and mental notes to later be recomposed in unique views and sceneries.
“ my intention is to bring together reality and imaginary using the architecture and cityscape of New York. Capturing the spontaneity of New York street life with some degree of precision was a challenge. Anyone can take a photo. So to create my vision i take a sign from here, a taxi from there and compose a new angle ”.
… Lucette’s work features a lot of colour with layering and mixed media. A blend of highly detailed and contemporary pop art creations that complete the body of work on display.
“ I don’t have an idea as to what the piece may become when i begin. Then it develops into a puzzle I have to solve, a story with an ending ”.
